Christmas in March

I know this is so late, but I still wanted to post our Christmas pictures. Christmas was so much more fun this year with our little guy, except that he didn't really know what was going on.

Here he is in his Christmas pajamas which were given to him by his Grandma and Grandpa. These next two pictures were taken on Christmas Eve.

Here he is "opening" one of his presents, a cute new outfit from an aunt and uncle.

Since Christmas was on Sunday we opted to attend with my parents because their church was at 9:00 a.m. and ours was at 1 p.m. We wanted to be able to enjoy our day with family and not have to worry about interrupting our festivities to go to church at our ward. It was fun to go to church with my family, and my Dad gave a nice talk about Christmas. I had to leave in the middle of it so I could nurse the boy - he did not want his bottle that day. After church we went home to change clothes, open some presents, and gather breakfast supplies to take to my parents house. Since Jr. is so little we didn't go all out on gifts for him.

He got two books, "Book of Mormon Stories" and "More Book of Mormon Stories".
Jonathan's parents gave him this cute aloha shirt. By this time of the morning he was really cranky and ready for a nap.
Our annual family Christmas photo. I really need to work on my midsection. And if Jonathan's facial hair is making you wonder if this photo was taken in the 1970's, don't worry, it is from 2012.
Here's Junior wearing his new shirt that his grandma made. He loves wearing it to church and always looks so handsome.

We had a great holiday. It was so fun to enjoy the holiday as a family. I'm sure next year will be much more fun with a 1 year old. He may actually care about his presents. We just feel so blessed to even have this little guy in our lives. He's so fun and brings us so much happiness.

Loves,
Karen
