Junior Update

Just for fun I thought I'd post a bunch of cute pictures of my kid. That's what blogs are all about, right?

Junior is now 7 months old, I can't believe it. These pictures show him from 4-7 months. He's a lot more mobile now and  so cute and animated.

He loves sucking on those toes - especially when they aren't covered up with socks! Although, the socks don't really stop him from sucking on his toes.

He loves his jumper saucer, but sometimes it really tires him out. Here are a series of photos I like to call "Going, Going, Gone".

Here's another series of photos that show just how mobile he really is. I like to call these "Blissfully Independent". You can see how his legs are under the pack and play.

Then he gets really stuck under there.
After this photo I was just waiting for the crying to start.

But I was pleasantly surprised by how happy he was being half trapped under the pack and play.

And before I knew it he had gotten himself unstuck and into another compromising situation.

Isn't he so cute?!
I'm not sure where this face came from, must be from Jonathan's side of the family.
He really loves to explore, but shortly after this last photo, guess what he did? If you guessed that he hit his head on the table, you are absolutely right. No damage done, just scared him a little. Live and learn, right?

I sure love this little guy. He is so fun and makes me so happy. I love coming home from work and seeing his smiling face. He is usually so happy to see me and I love it! Just seeing him beam at me makes everything worth it. Don't you agree?

Christmas in March

I know this is so late, but I still wanted to post our Christmas pictures. Christmas was so much more fun this year with our little guy, except that he didn't really know what was going on.

Here he is in his Christmas pajamas which were given to him by his Grandma and Grandpa. These next two pictures were taken on Christmas Eve.

Here he is "opening" one of his presents, a cute new outfit from an aunt and uncle.

Since Christmas was on Sunday we opted to attend with my parents because their church was at 9:00 a.m. and ours was at 1 p.m. We wanted to be able to enjoy our day with family and not have to worry about interrupting our festivities to go to church at our ward. It was fun to go to church with my family, and my Dad gave a nice talk about Christmas. I had to leave in the middle of it so I could nurse the boy - he did not want his bottle that day. After church we went home to change clothes, open some presents, and gather breakfast supplies to take to my parents house. Since Jr. is so little we didn't go all out on gifts for him.

He got two books, "Book of Mormon Stories" and "More Book of Mormon Stories".
Jonathan's parents gave him this cute aloha shirt. By this time of the morning he was really cranky and ready for a nap.
Our annual family Christmas photo. I really need to work on my midsection. And if Jonathan's facial hair is making you wonder if this photo was taken in the 1970's, don't worry, it is from 2012.
Here's Junior wearing his new shirt that his grandma made. He loves wearing it to church and always looks so handsome.

We had a great holiday. It was so fun to enjoy the holiday as a family. I'm sure next year will be much more fun with a 1 year old. He may actually care about his presents. We just feel so blessed to even have this little guy in our lives. He's so fun and brings us so much happiness.
