• I don't watch network television (except for Hell's Kitchen & American Idol)
• I love vegetables and could easily be a vegetarian, but I'm not
• I love many music genres including: country, oldies, alternative, pop, rock, easy listening, classical, opera, emo... the list continues, but I'm getting bored
• I love dogs, we have 2-4 depending on the day :)
• I want to have as many children as I can -any day now, Heavenly Father... please :)
• I love the Food Network, TLC, HGTV and A&E
• I love (most) comic book movies but I've never read a comic book in my life
• I love children's and young adult literature
• I love Jane Austen
• My guilty pleasures are the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and the Disney channel
• I've traveled to Mexico at least three times and lived in Santiago, Dominican Republic for four months
• I don't speak Spanish
• I love crafts, but not scrapbooking (I don't have the patience)
• After working at a couple of food establishments, a gas station and as a telemarketer, I have worked for the same company for the last 7 years in 3 different positions
• I hate sweeping and mopping

The Power of Prayer

Call us crazy, but we're trying to teach our dog how to properly say his prayers...

Tito fell asleep like this the other night and it was SO funny, we had to take a picture. I would be so uncomfortable, I don't know how he could sleep kneeling like that. I wonder what he was praying for...

Meet Kimo

He's the newest member of our family (as far as dogs go). He's so sweet! He is growing like crazy and he fits in like the rest of the dogs - sleeps all day and night. We have him mostly potty trained now and that is SO nice. Isn't he adorable?

Puppies!

Many of you remember when our dachshund, Kookie, had puppies. I never got many pictures posted, so I thought I'd do them now. The two brown puppies were sold, but we kept the black one. Aren't they so cute?

Thank Goodness It's Thursday!

I love working 4-10s. I'm pretty tired by Thursday night, but just knowing that I don't have to go to work tomorrow (Friday) is oh-so-sweet.

I love my husband

I love my husband. He is always so sweet to me and I am so glad I married him. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have such a hard working, spiritual, smart, and handsome (of course!) man to share the rest of my life with. I love you, Jonathan!

Tired

After a week of running errands and lugging food up and down the stairs, I am TIRED!

My office had a department breakfast party this morning, and that's an excellent idea, just not when I have to do all the shopping, setup and takedown. I did have help, but I am still just exhausted. Not to mention one of our secretaries left for Denmark on Tuesday and two others are on vacation half the week.

I want to go home! Good thing I don't work on Fridays :)

The Beginning...

This is the humble beginning of my personal blog. I thought it might be fun to have a blog all to myself. I'm not really sure what direction to go, but it might be fun to come along for the ride :)

Two Months Later...

We're still alive - just busy, I guess. We sold the two female puppies (tear), but the black one, Kimo, is here to stay. He's fitting into the family just perfectly. Here are some pictures of Tito checking out the puppies when they were 3-4 weeks old.
