I know I'm way behind on my posts, but I don't want to forget the things we've done so far this summer. Our Memorial Day started with a picnic lunch for the Cluff family. We ate at a pavilion near a school where they have a fun playground.
The kids quickly found a "pond" behind the pavilion. The pond was rainwater left over from a storm we had the previous week. The kids proceeded to build a bridge of rocks to cross the pond. They were having fun.
Then we went to the park and some of us played PIG.
Then we played some wiffle ball.
I turned the camera over to Madison and these are some of the shots she got:
Julia and Dylan played some tether ball.
Madison might turn out to be a good little photographer - some of her pictures are very interesting.
Then we spend the evening with the Saluone family. We played with Suzie and Alema for a little while. Then we decided to play a little touch football in the backyard with some of the older kids. I'm not sure why, but it seems like my team never wins. Interesting....
We had a great time with both families and were very wiped out by the end of the day. That's what we call a great holiday.
This is another long overdue post, but I wanted to take the time to celebrate my brother's very special day. On May 1, 2009 Randy graduated from Utah State University. We're so proud of him, it's such a great accomplishment. And he already has a job teaching at Logan High School in the fall. Congratulations!!!
